North America Journey Team guidelines

  1. Purpose:
    1. We want to see the hope of God through last 40 years of UBF Europe ministry by attending 2009 European Summer Bible Conference (ESBC)
    2. We want to join 1,000 times of prayers for ESBC
    3. We want to send more than 200 members of journey team from North America as our prayer for reviving Europe
    4. Our conference participation, prayer support, after conference chapter visiting may be encouragement and blessing.
    5. We don’t want to be a burden to our one or two house church ministry through our after conference visiting.
  2. Post-conference visiting guideline
    • In order to be a blessing and not to be a burden to our house church chapters, North American Journey team is asked to choose one among the following 5 plans.
    • ESBC committee wants to open the after conference plan by March 31st as dead line and after that they want to concentrate to prepare messages and other important things. Therefore, everybody who wants to participate in North America ESBC journey team must decide one of 5 before the end of March and show your choice in registration. You can still buy ticket at your best time even after March 31st. (when and where you find the cheapest ticket and early possible)

    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus. Visit Martin Luther church, Berlin wall etc
    • 8.18. 5.15 p.m dept Frankfurt/ 8.18 7.30 p.m. arrive O’Hare
      Air fee: $1,064 (based on March 16)
      Bus, food, hotel,guide etc 250 Euro (1 Euro=1.3 dollar: $325 USD)
      Travel total: $1,314 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)
  2. London, England
    • 8.12 O’Hare at 4.15 p.m by UA. Arrive Dusseldorf 8.13. 7.30 a.m.
    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus will go to Dusseldorf and take airplane to London. Will visit Oxford, Cambridge, etc
    • 8.19. 3.20 p.m London/ 8.19 6.30 p.m. O’Hare
      Air fee: $1,148 (based on March 16)
      Bus, food, hotel,guide fee: 450-500 Pound (1 pound=1.5 dollar: $700-750 USD)
      Travel total: $1,850 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)
  3. Paris, France
    • 8.12 O’Hare at 4.15 p.m by UA. Arrive Dusseldorf 8.13. 7.30 a.m.
    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus will go to Belgium, Paris Eifell tower etc
    • 8.19. 11.15 a.m. Paris– 8.19 1.13 p.m. O’Hare arrival
      Air fee: $1,007 (based on March 16):
      Bus, food, hotel,guide fee: 325 Euro (1 Euro=1.3 dollar: $423 USD)
      Travel total: $1,430 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)
  4. Geneva, Swiss
    • 8.12 O’Hare at 4.15 p.m by UA. Arrive Dusseldorf 8.13. 7.30 a.m.
    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus will go to Bern, Swiss, Alps Jungfrau, Geneva
    • 8.19 Geneva 10.15 a.m. 8.19 11.10 a.m. O’Hare
      Air fee: $1,010 (based on March 16)
      Bus, food, hotel,guide fee: 560 Euro (1 Euro=1.3 dollar: $730 USD)
      Travel total: $1,740 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)
  5. Czec, Poland
    • 8.12 O’Hare at 4.15 p.m by UA. Arrive Dusseldorf 8.13. 7.30 a.m.
    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus will go to Czec then Auschwitz, Warsawa
    • 8.20 Warsawa 7.45 a.m. 8.20 5.30 p.m. O’Hare
      Air fee: $961 (based on March 16)
      Bus, food, hotel,guide fee: 400 Euro (1 Euro=1.3 dollar: $520 USD)
      Travel total: $1,481 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)
  6. New generation program

    • 8.13-16 conference
    • 8.16 after lunch by bus will go to Munich, Zalsburg, Viena, Alpes, Romantic Road etc
      Air fee: $1,064 (based on March 16)
      Bus, food, hotel,guide fee: 250-300 Euro (1 Euro=1.3 dollar: $400 USD)
      Travel total: $1,464 (Registration fee 220 Euro ($290 USD), offering 100? Allowance? Up to you)

*Chicago Journey Team: See the following,(the attached) Chicago O’Hare departure schedules and choose one for you and purchase air plane tickets by yourself :( *Call one or two of 4 travel agencies below who know our programs. Compare prices with your own research from the web and buy the cheapest tickets: Be careful 1. Give your passport name (Wrong names to be changed later, pay high penalty) 2. Check whether you need visa 3. If you buy through web site: your arrival in Dusseldorf on Aug 13 in the morning should be kept, if not you may come by taxi to Eringer Field.)

*Journey team depart from other than Chicago: see the above schedules and choose one of 5 and do the followings:

  • Call one or two of above agencies and give your city name and one of 5 plans too. They will tell you the schedules similar to Chicago time schedules and price. You should check the arrival in Dusseldorf, in the morning of August 13 closer to Chicago Team’s time schedules: Check the departure airport and day and time of returning to your city after visiting. The city must be the same and the time and date should match closest possible to Chicago schedules and buy it.

Pick up: On Aug 13, in the morning, in Dusseldorf, for North American Journey Team: There will be possibly two pick ups. The first at around 10 a.m. and the last at 12 noon by our European coworkers due to their shortage of workers. If you miss them or come other time period:
After journey, they will take you to the air port as you can see the following journey itinerary.

Taxi: People who arrive other than this designated time must come by taxi to the conference place: Taxi fee:200 Euro dollar (From Dusseldorf to Eringer Field)
By Train: 40 Euro

*If you make your own schedules other than the above 5 plans but none of the conference program: Fine, You can make your own and do everything under your own plan.
